We have 3 simple tips we use all the time.
1. Dilute your drinks with soda water,
2. Make your own reduced sugar Water to go,
3. Keep a chilled green tea ready in the fridge.

Dilute your sweetened drinks
with soda water.

We take a lot of sugar in our drinks. Dilute Juices (like Orange or cranberry juice), Fizzy drinks, you can even dilute Yakult … and they all taste great.
Most store brought drinks are OTT (Over The Top) sweet. Once you get used to slightly less sweet drinks you won’t go back.

Here are a couple of our favorites.

For a great refreshing fuzzy drink try 1/3rd cranberry juice mixed with 2/3 soda water.

Add some Raro in your water bottle.

Keep a chilled bottle in the fridge, ready to grab and take anywhere with you.
This will save you buying a highly sweetened drink & save you some money.
We dilute our Raro to: 1 sachet makes 10 liters,
The packet says 1 sachet makes 1 liter.
The store bought drinks have a large amount of carbohydrate from Stevia, which is fine but it is OTT sweet.
Try: 1 teaspoon of Raro to 750 ml drink bottle full of water.

You will get good at knowing how little to add, just a small pour (1 teaspoon).
Don’t add too much, just enough to take the taste of the water away.
It’s easy you can take a Raro packet everywhere.

Once you have your Raro in, there should not be any visible un-dissolved sugar.

One of our readers has done a lot of research in to sugar and she asked us to share her review. You can find out all about the effects of sugar here at Health ambition.

According to National Geographic “In 1700 the average Englishman consumed 4 pounds of sugar a year. In 1800 the common man ate 18 pounds of sugar. In 1870 that same sweet-toothed bloke was eating 47 pounds annually. Was he satisfied? Of course not! By 1900 he was up to 100 pounds a year. In that span of 30 years, world production of cane and beet sugar exploded from 2.8 million tons a year to 13 million plus. Today the average American consumes 177 pounds of added sugar annually, or more than 22 teaspoons of added sugar a day.” http://ngm.nationalgeographic.com/2013/08/sugar/cohen-text
