2 minute noodle meal.
Add some leafy greens, an egg & your favorite vegetables to turn 2 minute noodles into a well rounded meal.

INGREDIENTS:
2 minute noodles.
We like Trident, Hot & Spicy and Magi, Chicken or Beef flavors.

Vegetables, use whatever you have,
A good handful of lettuce,
Asparagus,
Mushrooms,
Capsicum,
Cherry tomatoes…

Additional:
1 egg,
1 tin of Tuna chunks,
Chili … a hot pepper or two.

METHOD:
We use a microwave necause it is fast and clean.
You can perform the same method using a conventional stove, it just takes longer and you should add your leafy greens once the noodles are soft.
Your leafy greens only need a few seconds cooking, this will help keep them rich in vitamin c…

Boil hot water in your jug,
This saves power and using boiling water will start your noodles cooking faster.
You need to make sure your noodles have time to cook before eating them.

Add your noodles to a microwave safe bowl,
Add your flavor sachet,

Make sure you have enough hot water to mostly cover the noodles,
Push them down with your finger just to wet them,
They do not need to be fully covered,
Microwave on high for 2 minutes,

While the microwave cooks the noodles,
Prepare your vegetables,
Chop your tomatoes, mushrooms, asparagus, capsicum.

Cut your lettuce lengthwise & not to fine,
The lettuce will go on top, last,

Get your noodles from the microwave, give them a stir,
If you have an egg:
Make a whole on one side of the noodles and break in your egg, Your egg should sink to the bottom of the noodles.

Add your vegetables on top and stir them in a little,
Add your lettuce on top of everything,
You do not need to stir in your lettuce.
The lettuce will go nice and soft…trust us it is good,

Microwave on high for a further 2 minutes,

Remove from the microwave and stir everything together,
The lettuce will be all soft and limp,

If you have a tin of tuna chunks add a portion of tuna on top.

Serve with a couple of slices of buttered bread,

This is tasty and filling.
The vegetables will keep you feeling fuller longer.
