3 x 200 ml containers of chicken livers will make a good sized bowl of chicken liver pate.
Butter,

For an orange flavored variation you will need 1 Orange.

METHOD:

Prepare your chicken livers by cleaning them and cutting off anything excess or any fat.

Melt a large knob of butter in a saucepan.
Put the chicken livers in the saucepan and cook thoroughly.
Stirring occasionally.

Mash the cooked livers until you have a nice lump-less consistency.

Leave your pate to cool then refrigerate.

You may now add some orange juice and zest to make chicken and orange pate, if you like.
Grate the rind of 1 orange,

Breadcrumbs can be used to bulk it out or make it into a bigger quantity.
Just put your cooked livers into the blender with some bread crumbs and whisk it together.
